VOICES OF DIVERSITY
For many years, Alliant University has included a multicultural event, “Voices of Diversity” in which a passage from the Alliant mission statement is spoken in the native languages of some members of the graduating class. We are delighted to continue this tradition again this year. You would be asked to translate, and then read the following as part of the ceremony :
Alliant’s mission is to prepare students for professional careers of service and leadership and promote the discovery and application of knowledge to improve the lives of people in diverse cultures and communities around the world.
If you are interested in participating in the 2026 Voices of Diversity, please submit the
Voices of Diversity application form no later than March 13, 2026. Please also include the language(s) you would be willing to recite.
STUDENT SPEAKER
Each year a Student Speaker is identified to address the graduating class. If you are interested in being a Student Speaker please submit the Student Speaker application form no later than March 13, 2026. The speech should be about 5 minutes long and remember, you will be speaking not just to clinical psychology graduates, but to graduates from all our programs including psychology, education, business, and leadership.

A few things to note:
- Please make sure you are cleared by your Student Advisor before you purchase your regalia.
- The deadline to purchase your regalia is April 12th. This allows Oak Hall enough time to process and ship your order before your ceremony date. Please be mindful that Oak Hall processes hundreds of orders and delays may occur.
- For those defending their dissertation close to the graduation date, please know that you can still order your regalia and return, if needed. (regalia must be unopened in order to return)
- OUR ADVICE – When in doubt, purchase the regalia anyway. You can always use it next year and/or for photos, etc.

Return Policy:
1) Regalia is to be shipped back to Oak Hall within 60 days of receiving their order. (include the packing slip)
2) Inside packaging cannot be opened. (Return Sealed As Received) You cannot open & use for photos.
3) You will be responsible for return shipping costs (via: USPS/UPS/FED EX)

Congratulations future Alliant graduates! The completion of your degree is not only a milestone worth celebrating, it marks the beginning of your career of impact as an Alliant Alum. Commencement recognizes and celebrates students’ successful completion of their academic programs. Many students, as well as their family and friends, participate in the ceremony as a rite of passage that commemorates the achievement of a higher education degree.
If you are an on ground student and plan on attending the commencement ceremony, please submit the
2026 Spring Commencement Participation form by January 31, 2026.
If you are an online student and plan on attending the commencement ceremony, please submit the
2026 ONLINE CAMPUS Spring Commencement Participation form by January 31, 2026.
Note: this form is separate from the Application for Degree form.
For doctoral candidates, you must defend your dissertation by May 1, 2026, to be eligible to participate in commencement.
Due to the high volume of anticipated graduates, it’s imperative all students submit the participation form by January 31, 2026. Please note, due to occupancy limits and based on the number of participants, the number of guests per student may be limited and will be strictly enforced.
Students who submit the Commencement Participation Form will work closely with their Student Advisor to determine commencement eligibility.

PLEASE NOTE: Travel and accommodation arrangements shall be the responsibility of each student and their respective guests. In the event of cancellation or postponement due to public health directives or any other unforeseen circumstances, Alliant University assumes no obligation or responsibility for costs and expenses incurred relative to cancellation or postponement of commencement.
