Congratulations to all our graduates! You and your guests will still have access to the online ceremony website until June 18, 2023. This allows you to share the ceremony with those that weren’t able to make it on May 18th, as well as gives you access to the Alumni booth and Program. 2023 Virtual Commencement Ceremony

Congratulations future Alliant graduates! The completion of your degree is not only a milestone worth celebrating, it marks the beginning of your career of impact as an Alliant Alum. This is an invitation for you to highlight your accomplishments by participating in the 2023 Spring Commencement ceremony. Commencement recognizes and celebrates students’ successful completion of their academic programs. Many students, as well as their family and friends, participate in the ceremony as a rite of passage that commemorates the achievement of a higher education degree. 

The deadline to submit your Degree Application form is December 16, 2022 for those student completing their final course(s) and all program requirements in the October 2022 term, and Fall 2022 semester.  If you are projected to be enrolled in your final required course or courses in the May 2023 term (Term 6: May 1st-June 25th, 2023), then you are eligible to participate in the May 2023 Commencement ceremony.

*Credential only students do not need to submit the Application for Degree form but do need to submit the participation form below. 

As a graduate from an Online program you have two Commencement options (please submit one option):

  1. Attend an in-person Commencement ceremony:
  • If you plan on attending a in person commencement ceremony, please submit the 2023 Spring Commencement Participation form by January 16, 2023
  • You have the option to attend an in-person commencement ceremony location of your choice, preferably one closest to where you reside.

2.) Attend our Virtual Commencement ceremony:

 Due to the high volume of anticipated graduates, it’s imperative all students submit the participation form by January 16, 2023. Please note, due to occupancy limits and based on the number of participants, the number of guests per student may be limited and will be strictly enforced. 

Students who submit the Commencement Participation Form will work closely with their Student Advisor to determine commencement eligibility.  

Of course, all planning for in-person activities is contingent upon state and local county guidelines and attendance will require compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and University policy. We will continue to monitor any directives from state, county, and local health authorities that may impact Commencement planning due to changing public health circumstances and will keep everyone informed of any changes that occur. In addition, Commencement Ceremony venues may have specific requirements related to COVID19.

San Diego

Virtual Commencement Date:

  • Thursday, May 18th  at 3:00 pm PST

If you need to make changes to your participation form, please avoid duplications by emailing with your change requests. This may include changing a Last Name, Dissertation Title, Dissertation Chair, etc.

The regalia site is now live. The deadline to order your regalia is April 2nd. Please do as as as possible to avoid any delays! ORDER REGALIA HERE

Regalia Return Policy:

1) Regalia is to be shipped back to Oak Hall within 60 days of receiving their order. (include the packing slip)

2) Inside packaging cannot be opened. (Return Sealed As Received) You cannot open & use for photos.

3) You will be responsible for return shipping costs (via: USPS/UPS/FED EX)
